North Andover is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. At the 2020 census the
population was 30,915. North Andover is located in the northeastern part of Massachusetts, on
the banks of the Merrimack River and approximately 24 miles (39 km) north of Boston.
The town is home to several historical sites, including the Stevens Memorial Library, which
houses a comprehensive collection of materials about Anne Bradstreet, the first published
woman poet in the Americas.
North Andover is also home to several educational institutions, including Merrimack College, a
private liberal arts college, and North Andover High School, a public high school that is
consistently ranked among the best in the state. North Andover is a great place to live, work, and
